Hi there.. Hope you like my blog in my new web site setting, Honeymooncaribbean.com.
It has taken us a long time to develop something that I felt was right for honeymoons and destination weddings.. a move that I felt I was leaning toward. 

Well with that thought in mind, I must tell you about my recent trip to Mexico..My travel partner in crime, Hedy and I left Ft lauderdale to go to the Playacar Palace. Although I knew little about the resort, I was invited..so when invited you go.

The resort itself is small and not one of the grand hotels you see in Mexico. The pool is very nice, clean very well taken care of but again not one of the grand pools you see in the Riviera Maya. Yet we fell in love with this resort.

A quiet family resort...the rooms are spectacular and the view I had was simply amazing.
Two double beds in the room, a stocked fridge and alcohol galore..what more can you want except 24 hr room service which was just amazing.

The beach..the beach, the water wins my vote for a fabulous location in the Riviera Maya..Playa Del Carmen to be exact.
This resort is located right in the town of playa del carmen, just footsteps from the famous 5th avenue. Right outside our door was starbucks; shopping galore and Karen's, one of the best restaurants around.

This resort has my vote..we walked 5th avenue..we wined and dined and should we have decided to party, that was available too. Congo Bongo...On 10th avenue is prime for the party goers.

Another option is to go to Moon Palace or adjacent to the resort is the Ferry to Cozumel. Go visit Cozumel Palace...its easy and an option to you.

Carilise, I applaud you for having me choose this resort and I will be back for years to come.
